Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women has a proud privilege to produce quite a good number of distinguished students who served and still serving the nation in different capacities. College has also shown marvelous result at Punjab University level and got gold medals. Late Begum Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir (First Shaheed lady)

Mrs Bilquis Mehdi the first shaheed lady of Pakistan Air Force. Madam Bilquis Mehdi the wife of Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir was a distinguished student of the College. As a student she wrote articles for the college magazine “Vision” held the position of general secretary of Pakistan Air Force Women, Association. She served as a managing lady at different PAF Bases/Units/for nations. She specially contributed a lot for Pakistan Aero Nautical complex Kamra for the welfare of poor and needy. She also held the office of the President Pakistan Air Force Women Association and the Chairperson of PAF College of Education. As President PAFWA she under took many projects of welfare and accomplished them successfully. She also helped the civil organizations in the hour of calamity like flood. She generously donated books and uniforms to the children of Rawalpindi schools who were affected by flood. She desired to establish colleges of education at all Principal Bases of PAF. A day before her shahdat she directed to open colleges of education at Peshawar, Lahore and Karachi. The PAF College of Education, Peshawar was established in August 2002 and is flourishing day by day. The Fazaia College of Education and Teacher Training for Women at Lahore has started in its grand building and PAF College of Education at Faisal is at feasibility stage and Insha Allah will start in due course of time honoring her mission.

Begum Air Marshal Syed Shahid Zulfiqar Ali(MSc Physics, B.Ed)

Mrs Batool Ali wife of Air Marshal Syed Shahid Zulfiqar Ali, the former Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Operation) PAF was a distinguished student of the college. She got 2nd position at college level and won silver medal. She honorary taught the subject of Physics at Fazaia Colleges and PAF College of Education for Women, Chaklala. She is a knowledgeable and competent resource person. As Secretary General PAFWA she announced to hold workshop for reviewing the curriculum of PAF Schools/Colleges in collaboration with Ministry of Education curriculum wing, Islamabad. She has been inspiring the students of this college by her talk on different occasions and different topics. She helped a lot while establishing PAF Finishing School at Chaklala, now shifted to E-9 Base Islamabad. As a managing lady at different PAF Bases she did a wonderful job for the poor and needy.Top

Mrs Noureen Mirza (M.A English, Dip in MMOT)

She did Montessori Method of Teaching course from this institute. She is the co-coordinator of SPELT a forum of English teacher. She is a master trainer; she has conducted a number of workshops and training course in and out the country.

Mrs Samia Mobashir (M.A Pol.Science, Dip in MMOT, B.Ed, M.Ed, M. Phil in Education (in process))

She did diploma course in Montessori Method of Teaching. She also did B.Ed and M.Ed from this college. She is founder Principal of Cantt Montessori School. She conducted number of workshops and training courses with in the country in collaboration with Fazal Dad Human Rights.

Miss Uzma Ahmed (M.A English, B.Ed)

Miss Uzma Ahmed was President Student Council and won Rehana Jamal Trophy. She is serving the Pakistan Air Force as an Education Officer.

Ms Farzana Gill (MSc Psychology, M.Ed, Dip in MMOT)

Ms Farzana Gill did Diploma in MMOT and M.Ed from this College. She is Head of the Department of Montessori Teacher Training at College.

Miss Anjum Afshan (M.Sc Psychology, Dip in MMOT, B.Ed)

She is a lecturer in this College and teaching MMOT and Psychology classes.

Mrs Saima Afzal (M.Phil (EPM))

She did B.Ed and M.Ed from this College. She worked as Assistant Manager Student Affairs and member visiting faculty in Foundation University, Islamabad. She is an active member of Academy for Educational Development (USA Based NGO). She also worked as Master Trainer in Children Resource International (USA Based NGO). She worked as outsource expert and contributed in the project of Teacher Training in Italian Based NGO. She worked as Senior Manager Inspection and Evaluation in Fauji Foundation. She is a visiting lecturer in AIOU and Arid Agriculture University, Islamabad and Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women PAF Base, Nur Khan.
