Master of Arts in Education was started in 2003. It is designed to develop the professional abilities of those involved in Education. The Program is, therefore, structured to provide students with a deep understanding of educational theory, practice and policy, together with opportunities to focus on different aspects of their own personal and professional development. It attempts to foster an understanding and knowledge of educational research. The main emphasis is on the development of intellectual, academic and professional skills of our students to train them to become effective practitioners in the field of education.

The Program will be completed in four semesters (2 years). Research Project / Thesis of 9 credits and teaching practice of 6 credits are compulsory components of the degree program. The Course will include quizzes (4-6), assignments (2), Sessional (2) and a final examination. The teacher-pupil interaction time for particular subject shall be 1 hour/day.
